Update: Disruptions are now resolved and Ensembl services are back to normal.
Ensembl Tools, including VEP and BLAST/BLAT, are currently unavailable as is access to our public MySQL server. There are also problems with some of the Ensembl Genomes sites (plants.ensembl.org, protists.ensembl.org, metazoa.ensembl.org). We are sorry for the trouble this may cause and we hope to restore them as soon as we can.
Rapid Release 33 contains species annotated via BRAKER2
Global biodiversity projects, including the Darwin Tree of Life project, are producing a large number of high-quality genome assemblies. At Ensembl our goal is to generate high quality, evidence-based gene annotations for all high-quality assemblies, using the latest software components to ensure a continued high standard of genome annotation, even when the available data are limited.

Hooray! Ensembl 105 and Ensembl Genomes 52 have now been released. We have got updates to the human frequency data and new and updated genomes for vertebrates, fungi and plant species. We are also very excited to integrate AlphaFold data for Arabidopsis thaliana in Ensembl Plants.
